Lightstone's latest House Price Index
According to Lightstone's latest Property Index, national house price inflation rose to 4.7% year-on-year. The Western Cape continues to outperform Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, though its growth has levelled off while the other two provinces show steady upward momentum. By value segment, inflation remains strongest in Low-Value properties at 7.5%, while Mid-, High- and Luxury segments show consistent growth.
