Confirmed financed deals of vehicles through the Signio platform are recovering to pre-Covid levels.
Financed sales averaged around 24 800 deals in 2019, of which 33% were classified as new and 67% as used. In 2020 this monthly average number dropped to 17 200, but by the end of 2022 had recovered to an average of 22 000 deals/month, 30% new and 70% used.
New vehicle sales
Over the first seven months of 2023, average financed sales recorded through Signio amounted to 20 500 deals per month. This was 6% down on the January to July period in 2022, but 10% up on the same window in 2021.
Over the first seven months in 2023, the average number of dealers reporting new deals in a month through the Signio system was 640, which amounts to a 1.4% increase over 2022. However the average number of dealers reporting used deals through Signio was 0.6% lower than last year, at 1 206.
