Role Overview

The individual will assume a national sales role reporting to the Head of Sales. The role requires a strong focus on revenue and market share growth within clearly defined market segments with a value proposition that is market ready. To enable this objective the individual will need to build, maintain and expand relationships with strategically important clients. Automotive segments to be served includes, motor retail (Dealer), manufacturers, importers and financial services.


Role requirements

  • Develop, lead and implement a targeted sales plan introducing a new strategic sales initiative. 
  • Develop and report on the sales plan by month and align action plans to exceed revenue budget. 
  • Manage all client engagements, presentations, proposal development and client onboarding.
  • Track customer usage and proactively drive value to said clients. 
  • Build meaningful relationships while applying a strong problemsolving mindset.             
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage the expectations of identified key clients. 
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Plays advisory role by providing client consultation on service and industry initiatives.
  • Responsible for understanding the Client’s organisation and structure, knowing the Client’s product/services and staying aware of Client news and changes. 
  • Communicates, monitors and assures proper billing procedures.
  • Understands the client’s strategy and roadmap.
  • Establishes and promotes goodwill with customer. Reviews client issues, tasks, projects and new initiatives and contacts customer as a follow-up activity. 

Qualifications

  • Post Grad or Degree in Business Management preferred. 

Experience

  • Strong Sales, Business Analysis/ Key Account experience. 
  • 10 Years in Automotive industry either at OEM, retail level and/or automotive service provider level.
  • Deep understanding of vehicle acquisition processes within sales and aftersales environment within OEM and/or retailers.
